Join NHLBI, The Heart Truth, and organizations around the country on National Wear Red Day, celebrated each year on the first Friday in February, to bring greater attention to heart disease awareness as the leading cause of death for Americans.

National Wear Red Day® is celebrated on the first Friday of February. Wear red and encourage others to do the same to bring awareness that heart disease is the leading cause of death in the U.S., but that it’s largely preventable.
